Guangxi lies in a subtropical region: rainy, warm and wet. It is fit for traveling all year round. July is the warmest and average temperature is 23 C to 29 C; the coldest is in January, and average temperature is about 6 C to 16 C. In Guangxi, 80 percent of the rain occurs from April to September. Annual average rainfall is 1250 to 1750 millimeters (49.2 to 68.9 inches) in the most areas.
If you want to enjoy the fabulous natural scenery, visit the numerous cultural and historic sites and taste the traditional customs, Spring and the Fall should be your best choice.
The west part of China can be visited throughout the year because of the stretch of its territories, sites and activities it can offer. Deciding when to visit China depends on where you wish to visit, what type of weather you enjoy, and how much of a bargain you want. The west part of China is a huge district with many different climates and types of landscape.
April, May, September and October are the peak tourist months at West China's most popular destinations when the weather is most comfortable. Prices drop a bit in the shoulder season, which runs from November through March and from June through August.
